Crosspoint is run entirely by volunteers; we have no paid staff. We would be unable to offer any services to our local community if it were not for the dedication and commitment of our volunteers.
We are always looking for new people to join our team. In particular, we are looking for people who:
- have good listening skills
- are non-judgmental
- can communicate easily with people from all backgrounds
- are able to help clients use the computer for internet searches, job applications and completing online forms
In return, we can offer you a worthwhile volunteering opportunity as part of a friendly team.
Our volunteer training sessions have been on hold during the pandemic, but we have further sessions planned over the forthcoming months.
All volunteers are asked to complete an application form, provide two referees and attend a short interview with two of the Trustees.
